Harmanpreet Kaur Credits Her Bat Swing for Her Performance
During the post-match presentation following India's victory, Harmanpreet focused less on her individual batting performance and instead thanked her coach. She said she had thoroughly enjoyed batting and wanted to continue enjoying her time at the crease. She added that the important thing was that her approach had resulted in runs.
Explaining her plan for the innings, Harmanpreet said that hitting a four off the first ball gave her an immediate indication that the pitch was good for batting. The shot boosted her confidence, and she decided to continue playing in the same manner and see how things unfolded.
She identified her bat swing as her biggest strength and said she wanted to keep practising it consistently in the nets.
Harmanpreet then credited her batting coach, Himanshu, for his efforts to improve her game. She said she wanted to thank Himanshu Bhaiya, who had been working very hard on her batting.
